Millennium Gold Hotel

The reception staff were very welcoming, and the suite was clean, basic, and perfectly nice. There’s a fridge, but no kettle or coffee-making setup. It’s less than a ten-minute walk from the arrivals hall, which is very convenient. The problem is the noise: traffic carries on all night, with police sirens as well. I didn’t sleep at all. A disaster.

The room and bathroom were fantastic and very clean, and the staff were as helpful as could be. Our room faced the front, though, where fast-moving traffic rattled the windows during the night. I’d stay again, but would ask for a room at the back.

The shower was fabulous, and the rooms were clean. Service was fine and breakfast passable. We only stayed because easyJet cancelled our flight after we’d already reached the hotel, and without that we wouldn’t have picked this location or hotel. We did enjoy going into Naples for dinner, though, and being near the city was handy. You can walk to the airport, so the location gets five stars from me.

Handy place for an early flight. We stayed one night before flying in and another before flying out. There’s not much around for food or anything else, just the airport about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, and you can hear people talking through the thin walls. It is what it is.
