Sleep & Go Naples Airport

The owners were warm and helpful, and the bed was really comfortable. The room was basic but had what we needed, including good air-conditioning, a mini fridge stocked with water, and sockets beside the beds. Two doors before the room also made it feel more secure. There’s a tasty pizza place opposite and a couple of small shops nearby, though larger shops are about a 20-minute walk away. Getting around took a little planning: it was a 20-minute bus ride to Naples central station and a 20-minute walk from the airport. We were on the ground floor by the road, so it could be noisy, and the area felt unsettling and unclean. I wouldn’t recommend going out after dark. The website mentioned lockers, but there weren’t any, so we couldn’t leave valuables securely in the room.

For an early flight, the location worked really well: it’s about a 20-minute walk from the airport. Casa Caroline is a family-run place with just two rooms, and it suited our one-night stay. The rooms were good for the price, and the owners were exceptionally attentive. They even offer a handy free shuttle from central Naples.

The team kept in touch over WhatsApp, which was nice, and the two door codes made us feel very secure. But the stay itself was awful. The room had holes and dirt marks, and the shower was tiny, mouldy around the enclosure and inside the shower head, and never had hot water. We stayed three nights and couldn’t get a decent shower after days out exploring. The ladies said they’d sort it out, but the man who came never fixed it. The shower definitely needs replacing. The street outside was another problem. The road down to the main street and bus was covered in rubbish, and walking there felt unsafe. Cars park on the pavement, sometimes forcing you into the road, and people drive crazily. I know the street isn’t the B&B’s fault, but location is part of the review, so be warned. There are steps at the entrance and another step inside room 1. It was dark, and my partner nearly fell at the first one. Watch your footing.

We needed somewhere to stop overnight after a flight, and this worked perfectly. Check-in was easy, the room was secure and clean, and the bed was comfortable.
