The staff are friendly and part of the family. There's a restaurant and pizzeria open into the evening, and breakfast is included and very tasty. The rooms are basic, but for the price there's nothing to complain about. It's a simple guesthouse in a beautiful mountain setting, with unmistakable views of the meadows, pastures and surrounding peaks.

The staff were the best part of our stay. They carried our bags upstairs even though we hadn't asked, and at the end we hugged them all goodbye. Thank you, Rosa and Alex, for being such kind hosts. Breakfast was generous and good quality, with great coffee. Dinner is served at 7:00 pm, and pizza is available earlier. St. Leonard Church is right next door, with a mini-store across the street. Our basic room was clean and comfortable. There's no elevator, and a mini fridge in the room would have been handy for cold water and leftovers. They kindly let us keep our ice chest in their walk-in fridge. I booked this as a base for visiting the Dolomites, but the winding drive up had us wondering where we were going. The clouds never cleared enough for us to get close to the Dolomites, so we explored this beautiful place and the nearby villages instead, including Bolzano about 15 miles away. Sometimes an unexpected stop becomes somewhere you fall in love with.

The winding, curvy roads make getting here quite an adventure. But if you're after a beautiful view and a great breakfast, this is the place. The host is super friendly, and the staff are kind and always smiling. Unfortunately, it was socked in with clouds while we were here. I'm at a loss for words to describe the air. Amazing.

We were very happy with our stay. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. It's quiet and peaceful here, surrounded by nature, with a lovely atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying yourself.
