Residence Villa Stella

We had a wonderful week at Residence Villa Stella from March 7th to 15th. Karin and her team really make an effort to help guests feel at home. Fresh bread arrives at the apartment each morning, and coffee from the modern machine, tea, cookies, sweets, and pastries are available free of charge. Tiziana at reception was always charming and ready to answer questions or help with requests. Our cozy two-bedroom apartment had a kitchen and a balcony with beautiful town and mountain views. The residence is right in the center of Ortisei in Val Gardena, about a five-minute walk from the ski lift to the Sella Ronda. There’s street parking and a large underground garage, plus a ski locker and boot dryer. Karin and Tiziana, thank you for a great holiday. We’ll definitely return!

We had what we needed for cooking, though you’ll have to bring basic food items like salt and oil. Small bread rolls are left at your door each morning, and there’s a free coffee machine in the lobby. The residence sits on a steep hill, so walking into town and back means going uphill or downhill. The same goes for getting back with ski gear.

The room was a little tight for eight nights, but it wasn’t a major problem. Its cozy interior and excellent cleanliness made up for the size, and the kitchen equipment was high quality. We stayed in a small room as a couple, and found the hotel cozy and very clean, with a pleasant scent throughout, an elevator, and good ski storage. There’s a free-access machine for hot chocolate, tea, and coffee, with tasty portioned biscuits and cookies. Guests can also use a pool a ten-minute walk away at no charge, and towels are provided and can be exchanged for clean ones whenever needed. The location is very convenient for reaching Seceda and Alpe di Siusi, where the skiing is especially interesting and varied. Thanks for taking such responsible care of the property, cleanliness, and hospitality. A great place to stay in the Dolomites.

We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and excellent service, along with the fresh, comforting hint of lemon in the air. Our room had a stunning view that I loved waking up to each morning. It’s a very nice place in the heart of Ortisei, with quick access to Seceda, parking outside, and the town center within walking distance.
