We came back for a second stay at Maurizio’s home in Badia, about 10 minutes from central Orvieto, and it felt just as magical. A fresh blackberry pie and eggs from their own chickens were waiting when we arrived. Maurizio welcomed us like family, with the kind of warmth that puts you at ease straight away. The property is full of care and feels true to country life. We spent time by the peaceful pool, with vineyards and trees under the Umbrian sun, birds singing in the morning, a gentle donkey grazing nearby, and sweet puppies around. It was lovely to sip wine under the stars and feel the breeze through the vines. Here, time slows down and nature takes over. Thanks, Maurizio, for sharing your little paradise with us again. We'll be back, hopefully many more times.

Maurizio was a fabulous host and gave us some wonderful places to eat. We really enjoyed this beautiful, authentic holiday apartment in a special spot in the Umbrian countryside. When we arrived, our host's mum had made us a delicious, generous jam crostata.

The setting is peaceful, surrounded by nature, with lovely clean apartments, a beautiful view, and a fantastic pool. It's close to Umbria's medieval centers and other attractions, and just a few minutes from restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, and the host is kind and always available if you need anything. As a veterinarian, I find it essential that animals are treated well. The family are animal lovers, dogs are welcomed and loved, and my disabled border collie was treated like a queen. A wonderful place, five stars!

The pool is a wonderful place to unwind, and the natural surroundings make the property a real reset for body and soul. Colbadia farmhouse is lovely and only a five-minute drive from Orvieto. The owners are extremely kind and attentive to guests' needs. The apartments are clean and well-equipped. I'd highly recommend it, and I'll definitely come back for a longer stay.

I wanted to update my last review. It's been a while since we visited, but the place was clean and had everything we needed. The apartment was well equipped and good value for the price. Most of all, the owners were so kind, helpful, and friendly. Maurizio is a ray of sunshine, and we felt very comfortable.
