There are “free” parking spaces around the area, if you’re lucky enough to find one. The area itself didn’t feel like the best, with cars playing loud music all night and old ladies shouting. There was quite a lot of noise in general, though it’s Italy. Our stay was very disappointing. The room had a powerful, persistent air freshener smell that wouldn’t go away, even with the windows open constantly. One week later, my suitcase and backpack still smelled strongly of it, and even today my cloths still smell like the room. Mold had heavily affected the shower, plaster was peeling off the walls, and there were quite a few visible marks on the walls from previous guests, along with a lot of marks on the floor. The bedroom blind broke on the last day and couldn’t be raised, which limited the natural light. All of that made the stay much less enjoyable than expected.

The staff were so thoughtful and kind, and the neighborhood felt welcoming. Our room was spotless and clearly well cared for. I’d happily recommend staying here.

We found the location really handy, about a ten-minute walk from the central station and close to Palermo’s main sights. The shared area had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, plus complimentary water, coffee pods, and tea bags. The ensuite bathroom also had a great hairdryer. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay.

The owner is focused on one thing, sending you home happy, and you can feel that care in the details. I came away feeling like part of the family, not just another guest. The rooms were bright, fresh, tastefully furnished, and spotless. I can’t say whether the new cleaning company was on its first day, but based on the other reviews, this seems to be the usual standard. Top level, pure excellence.

The neighborhood is lively, but it was easy to get around, even at night, and there are several grocery stores nearby. We were about five minutes from ISMETT and a 15-minute walk from the center. The room was comfortable, and there’s a small shared kitchen with tea, coffee, and water.
