Multi Suite Palermo

I spent too much of my vacation chasing the manager and cleaning staff instead of enjoying myself. The manager brushed off the problems by saying they weren't a five-star hotel, which doesn't excuse basic hygiene, and the staff only made a half-hearted attempt to clean after I complained more than once. They even claimed we'd used the bathroom when we hadn't. On arrival, the room was filthy: dried fecal matter in the toilet, trash still there, a smeared mirror, and a stained, dirty sofa. There was no accountability or respect for guests. I wish I could give less than one star. Never again, and I'd avoid this place.

We were told the rooftop solarium didn't open until 10 in the morning, so we couldn't sit there when we tried to go up earlier. The room was a letdown too: for four people and three nights, the welcome kit's one and a half rolls of toilet paper was all we got. There were no paper towels, Kleenex, wine or bottle opener, pillowcases for the lumpy misshaped pillows, and just one blanket for four beds. Bare minimum essentials, if any. I wouldn't stay here unless disappointment is what you're after.

The rooms were really clean, and there was plenty to do nearby. My friend and I had a great weekend in the multi suite, with such friendly, attentive service. 10/10, would recommend.

We spent a week here and were very happy with the vacation. The apartment has a washing machine, coffee machine, electric kettle and hair dryer, plus air conditioning that kept the heat from bothering us. We also liked the rooftop Jacuzzi, where you can sunbathe, relax or eat. The balcony is fairly large, though it could use a table and chairs. It's right by the central train station, handy for visiting nearby places. We went to Cefalù, Trapani, San Vito Lo Capo, and found a beautiful blue-water beach near Capaci station. Some people mentioned noise, but with the windows closed we couldn't hear anything. Our only real drawback was the lack of an iron, which would've been useful during a week-long stay. We were very satisfied and would gladly return. Thanks for the vacation!
