The pool is huge, with one end getting quite deep, and there's often a nice breeze even in the hottest months. At Vecchio Mandorlo you feel tucked away in quiet, despite being only about ten minutes outside Perugia, a sizeable city with everything you need. The valley view is spectacular. Valentina puts a lot of care and passion into her work. This was one of the best places my family and I have stayed in for years. Everything, inside and out, was kept spotless and tidy. The apartments are small, but the materials are high quality and put together with good taste. I'd hesitate to recommend it to someone with a severe mobility disability, since the walk from the room to the pool is around 100-130 yards. My daughter has a prosthetic leg and managed the path without trouble, though it really depends on the person's needs. Valentina will do her best to help and accommodate you. We're looking forward to another trip to Umbria and hope to stay here again.

Breakfast was an extra charge, but we paid for it each morning and found it very nice and convenient. It was cool enough that we only used the AC on a few nights. The unit is in the living room, and it reaches the bedrooms if you leave the doors open. We hope to come back. The apartments are spacious and clean, and the pool is beautiful and very well cared for. Valentina was very helpful. The setting is a central part of Umbria, in an area a bit like a suburb of Perugia.

We visited in summer and really enjoyed this agriturismo. The pool and the whole property are lovely, and the alpacas were great :) It's only a few minutes from Perugia.
