Corridoni Suites

The one thing that worked for me was the location, close to the railway station and the airport shuttle train. The room itself felt uncomfortable: it was dark, the bathroom was tiny, and all the equipment looked worn out. There was no sign on the building or doorbell, and nobody sent instructions about getting the key. The walls were so thin I could hear everything next door. Maybe fine for one night if you're not picky, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

I was really pleased with the rooms, which were clean, comfortable, and better than I expected, with the basic amenities covered. There's also a kitchen for guests with a washing machine, dryer, and refrigerator. The owner was helpful and nice. Getting around is easy too, since the hotel is near the railway and bus stations as well as the airport, and you can catch buses to the tourist sights from the station. I'd give the stay five stars.

The room was barely usable, and I wouldn't choose this place at any price. The neighborhood is run down, though the train station is nearby. We arrived late without any instructions for getting into the room; thankfully, a neighbor came to help, as if she'd dealt with confused travelers before. The owner's communication was awful. We got an email just two hours before arrival, which didn't help since we had no internet or data on our foreign phone.

Handy if you've got a packed day planned. The Leaning Tower is a 5-10 minute bus ride away, the airport is a 15-minute walk, and the main train station is just 3-4 minutes away.
