B&B Vista Casentino

We were walking The Way of St Francis from Florence to La Verna and stayed one night at B&B Vista Casentino in April 2026. Since it wasn't on our route, Loredana picked us up in Consuma and took us to the property, then drove us back there the next morning. She invited us to dinner with her family that evening, which happened to be her birthday. Sharing that meal became one of the highlights of our Camino. Loredana was the perfect hostess, and the property itself is lovely, with stunning views. We couldn't recommend it more and would absolutely return if we had the chance. Thank you, Loredana!

The room was spotless and had a terrace with a lovely view. Breakfast came with plenty of variety, including homemade traditional desserts, and our four-legged friends are welcome too. The owners' dog was a great playmate. We stayed on a rainy August weekend, but the warm welcome made us feel like we were visiting an aunt. The location suited us well, though it may be inconvenient if you want to stay close to the city center.

We spent three lovely days here, from Friday through Sunday, and would gladly book Vista Casentino again if we're in the area. The valley views are beautiful, prices are excellent, and there's private parking on a big fenced property. Our room was new, spotless, tidy, and well cared for. The owner was kind and attentive, and the breakfast buffet was generous and tasty, with fresh homemade food alongside packaged options. Massimo and Anna.

The apartment had every comfort and was well equipped. Loredana and Franco welcomed me warmly, and they were both very kind and helpful. I stayed in the second half of July and found the place charming. Definitely recommend it.
