Il San Pietro di Positano

What makes Il San Pietro stand out most is its people. Rosina at the front desk welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, and the whole team had that same genuinely kind spirit. From arrival, the staff personally showed us around so we could make the most of the property. The views, terraces, and calm, luxurious setting are breathtaking. There is so much to enjoy: the beautiful pool, iconic beach and its world famous tennis court, spa, gym, and all the places to sit and take in the scenery. Breakfast was wonderful, and dinner was even better, with a magical setting, great service, and live music. Il San Pietro is now my favorite place in the world. I've stayed at remarkable hotels everywhere, and this one was flawless. I can't wait to return.

The people are what set Il San Pietro apart. Every staff member was welcoming and friendly, and they made us feel like family while proudly sharing what makes the hotel and area special. Before leaving, we had already decided to come back and stay longer next time. The hotel has everything for a perfect Amalfi coast visit: a picturesque spot high above the sea, well-appointed rooms with all the amenities, and spectacular food and drinks.

We made the most of the hotel's activities during our stay, since the weather was unusually poor for the third week of October and we spent a lot of time on the property. We tried the pizza making class, cooking class, and wine tasting. The staff were pleasant and helpful and made each day enjoyable. We stayed in an Elite Room, whose terrace had a beautiful view of Positano. On our first night, we ate at Zass, where the Sommelier gave exceptional food and wine recommendations. We'll come back in another season and hopefully get to enjoy the beach and tennis courts.

The staff made us feel completely at ease, especially with my allergies. Every server knew about them before I sat down, and they had options ready for me. They even made special breakfast choices for me at the buffet. I've often struggled to eat out, but here I felt more comfortable than anywhere else. We were here for our honeymoon, and it was an experience of a lifetime. Everyone treated us like royalty, got to know us, and took care of everything. They also arranged personal activities for us at no charge, including cooking and cocktail making classes, wine tastings, language classes, and more. They anticipated our needs too: when we were swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, a staff member passing by brought us towels before we realized we didn't have any. We can't wait to come back.
