A quiet, clean room, friendly staff, and a more than fair price. If you like being out in nature somewhere remote and peaceful, this could suit you. Waking up to frogs croaking and all kinds of birds comes free.

Stefania, her husband, and their son made us feel especially welcome. The property is surrounded by the greenery of the Po Valley, and we loved the peaceful, almost magical feel of it. A great choice if you enjoy a simple, rural setting.

I’m giving one star only because I can’t give less. This isn’t a judgment of the place itself, since I never got to find out what it was like. The owner canceled my booking a week before I was due to arrive, saying, “she calls me every day for one reason or another!” I’d called just twice before tonight: once to ask about the property and make a reservation, since I needed a place for a month or more because I work there; then to check whether a room would be available from early June. Tonight I called to ask about July. I don’t see why I should have to justify asking questions. I’m the customer paying for the stay, and I should be able to get the information I need. The very sweet lady had confirmed a month in June from the 6th for €600 or a little more, though that isn’t even the main issue. Today she was right to point out that it wasn’t a full month, just June 6th to the 30th!! Terrible and rude! The first call had been cordial and sweet, before she turned into a viper!!

No privacy at all, and the water smelled strange. The hot water came from a small boiler that wasn’t enough for two people. There was a very dangerous electric heater hanging on the bathroom wall, plus gas heating right by the bed. All that for 50 euros a night!!! Never again.
