Hotel Patrizia

I've known this hotel and the family for years, so it's easy for me to feel at home here. They've practically watched me and my big family grow up. The great Toni welcomes you with open arms, and the qualified staff are ready to help with any request. The hotel is right by the sea in the quiet Alba area, just steps from Viale Dante and the famous Viale Ceccarini. There's convenient, ample underground parking, delicious food, and fun themed evenings with entertainment. The panoramic terrace is splendid, with a breathtaking view. Simply put, Riccione means Hotel Patrizia to me.

We stayed from August 2nd to 9th. The room was cleaned daily, though only the bathroom and balcony were cleaned. We got fresh, clean towels each day, and the cleaning lady was pleasant and always smiling. Parking at the hotel cost us 15 euros per day. I feel hotel-owned parking could have been free or at least cheaper. The staff were incredibly helpful, quick, friendly and pleasant. The hotel is near the sea and the center of Riccione, and Viale Dante, with all its shops and restaurants, is on the parallel street. Lunch and dinner were excellent and tasty, with fish, meat and seafood available all week as well as stewed vegetables and assorted salads. The dessert choices were limited to ice cream, a small bowl of cut fruit, or a slice of watermelon for everyone. What if you wanted both? Breakfast was worse: two kinds of juice, machine coffee that didn't taste like coffee, courossey (very tasty), and lots of sweet muffins and cakes without cream. It was the same cheese and sausage every day. I really wanted fried eggs and at least boiled sausages, like at nearby hotels. The bar saved the day by making delicious coffee for free, with a smile. All in all, things were fine, but breakfast needs more variety in the cold meats and cheeses.

The food was varied every day, the waiters attentive and efficient, and the cleaning service excellent. We also appreciated the garage parking, and our rooms were right on the seafront with breathtaking views. We stayed for Easter as two couples and were more than satisfied with how Mr. Antonio and every member of his staff welcomed us. They treated us with respect and made us feel like family, even taking care of the smallest "problem." My husband wanted "guest"-sized towels despite getting clean ones in every size every day 🤣.

Six years after our first Ferragosto holiday here, my friends and I came back and had another lovely stay. Tony and the now larger staff gave us an unparalleled welcome, with impeccable service, always available, and excellent food. The hotel is right across from the affiliated Bagno Carla 98, where we had a wonderful time too. Riccione center is only a few minutes away on foot. We'll definitely be back!
