Residence Comfort

This year I came on my own and got a lovely third-floor apartment at a good price agreed with the manager. The terrace was still off limits, which is a shame when it could be used for sunbathing, views, and photos. I do plan to return in the coming years. I first came back in 2025 after a lovely holiday in Riccione with my girlfriend in 2024, and we booked six days. After 30 years of staying in hotels, I had a few small adjustments to make: there's no prepared lunch or dinner and no daily menu choices, so you have to shop and cook for yourself. Still, apartment life has its perks, especially the privacy when you come in at night, with nobody in the entrance hall. There were some drawbacks. The air conditioning wasn't very powerful, two broken items in the apartment had to be replaced, and although I asked for a higher floor, I was put on the second, with a terrible view of the buildings. You also can't use the large, cool terrace in the evening.

A stay I'd like to forget. The rooms were poorly kept, with dirty walls and damaged doors. The utensils and cutlery were so dirty they should be thrown out, and we even found a nail in a cup. The air conditioning stopped working after one day, and we were left suffering in the heat. On the last day, the owner came into our room without permission and woke us to make us leave so other people could use it. That says a lot about the organization. I don't consider this a three-star residence at all, or four stars if you count the extra one they've added 😹. If you want to avoid a disastrous vacation, I'd suggest a hotel or another residence. It's a shame there's no option for zero stars.

We arrived to find false eyelashes stuck to the bed, hair all over the bathroom, used underwear on a piece of furniture, and cigarette butts on the floor. The kitchen was dirty too, with a grimy stove and pots and pans, plus crumbs in the cabinet. There were also broken chairs. For cleaning, they charge an extra €20 per person, which seems like a pretty good deal for them given the state of the place. I don't recommend it. Unfortunately, zero stars isn't an option.

We got back yesterday from a perfect stay at the Comfort. Our four-person, two-room-plus apartment was very comfortable and clean, with free Wi-Fi, two small balconies, and a big terrace where we ate outside. It's conveniently close to the beach and genuinely just steps from Via Dante. If I'm back in Riccione, I'll definitely book again with Relax CASA Vacanze. The service was professional, helpful, and precise.
