The staff are helpful and polite, and breakfast is really generous. Everything was very clean, though the rooms are a little small and mine didn’t have air conditioning. The bathroom was tiny too. It feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel, the kind of place I remember visiting as a kid in the '90s. To me, it hasn’t changed since then. A good fit if you’re travelling without high expectations.

You only need to cross the street to reach the beach. I stayed for 10 days this September and had a wonderful time at this welcoming, family-friendly hotel. Susan, Francesco, the owners, and the rest of the staff are kind and helpful, and make you feel like a friend or part of the family. There’s a wide buffet selection from breakfast through lunch and dinner, and the food is excellent. I’ve already booked to come back for Easter and my next vacation. Go, you won’t regret it! Absolutely not recommended. The place looks as if it’s about to be demolished. My shower was out in the hallway, brown water came from the tap in my room, and the promised breakfast never showed up. The hotel was almost empty, but they still wouldn’t give me another room. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything in the next room.

The staff were fairly friendly, and the hotel is close to the shops and the beach. The food was less convincing: the pasta wasn’t properly cooked, or seemed to have been soaked in garlic. Wi-Fi worked poorly, if at all. The in-room shower setup was also awkward, with such a small toilet area that there wasn’t really a proper shower.
