Kursaal

The beach is very close, and the beach club staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean, and I appreciated finding face masks in the room when we arrived. The air-conditioning didn't work, though, and the bathroom felt a little dated. Breakfast also lacked a full selection of hot food.

Breakfast was such a mess that we went out to find food elsewhere. On the first morning, the buffet was short on food, the young staff seemed lost and poorly trained, and the water for tea was cold. The following day was much the same: no eggs or cheese, and the water was lukewarm again. On day three, there was cheese and eggs, but the tea water was still only tepid. A waiter had moved our juice from the table my wife chose and said it was reserved. At a breakfast buffet? Then my scrambled eggs arrived completely cold. We both left and spoke to reception. Sylvia was very helpful again, though she couldn't fix it herself and said she'd talk to the manager. Check-in, by contrast, had been excellent. Silvia quickly helped with a few requests. We were waiting to see if anything changed.

A beautiful view and a very clean hotel, with great staff, especially Marco, Oksana, Vlad, and Monica. It deserves more than three stars.

This is my second time here, and I love it all. The lobby interior is lovely, the breakfast is good, and the location is perfect.
