We were really happy with our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and Alberto was very helpful. There's a nice shared kitchen, free breakfast at a popular cafe nearby, and free luggage storage. The area worked perfectly for a short break, with lots of great restaurants that were less busy and expensive than in the city center, plus good transport connections to the tourist areas. Highly recommend ☺️

We stayed nine nights and it felt like home in this beautiful old building, scuffs and all. The room stayed quiet, since the tram wasn't running until July 2023. The housekeeper was lovely and did a great job. Alberto was friendly and responsive, met us within two minutes of our call, and arranged an airport transfer after we gave him an approximate arrival time. The location worked well for buses all over town. Google Maps with the bus icon was useful; we only took taxis from the train station and to the airport. Breakfast was at the small restaurant on the corner, with great croissants and coffee. Try the sandwiches too. Prices advertised were higher than what we paid, presumably because of the multi-day rate. It was great value for a longer stay. Water, juice, and crackers were provided daily at no cost. We used plates and utensils from the communal kitchen to eat excellent meat and cheese from the grocery two minutes away, several nights in our room. The grocery had great prices on six-packs of 750 ml water. You're about a 10-minute walk from all the restaurants you could want. Trastevere is at the heart of the food scene, with cool jazz bands playing in the street near restaurants and the beautiful Santa Maria Trastevere church, which is worth seeing. Don't miss the Trastevere flea market on Sundays. It was the largest I've ever been to, with old and new goods, antiques, clothes, souvenirs, old paper, train sets, and much more. Secondhand shops have items from 0.50 to 2,000 euros. I bought my extra suitcase there and could have filled a container with art and furniture. Worth the bus ride. Mercantino dell usato. The host was really friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, very clean, and cleaned every day. They left water, juice, and biscuits for free each day. It's very close to the center, and Tram 8 took us right from the hotel doors to Vennezia Square. We did hear outside noise, but we were so tired we fell asleep straight away. I'll recommend this place to all my friends who visit Rome.

We stayed one night and left, despite them refusing to refund the unused nights. I'll file a claim with Booking.com. What a dump. There was graffiti outside and all over the area, and we saw people yelling on the street just outside. After dinner, we found the BNB doors wide open and no employees around. When we shut our room door, its handle fell off. The manager said he'd fix it the next day, without apologizing. The AC was set high and wouldn't turn down or off all night because the batteries were old. There was only a sheet on the bed and I found just a very thin blanket, so I froze. The shower head wouldn't stay up and kept falling. The drain was clogged, and water filled the shower pan and spilled out the door. The bathroom's only outlet was on the wall opposite the mirror. When I plugged in the hairdryer, the outlet came out of the wall. As I dried my hair, the dryer's thin metal end fell off onto my shoulder and burned my skin. The manager scoffed at all this, accused me of breaking the lock and outlet, and said he'd complain to Booking.com to get money from me for them. Not once did he apologize. This was a horrible place with even worse customer service. I later checked into a beautiful hotel in a nice, safe neighborhood. They know how to treat guests there.
