St Peter Six Guest House

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location was unbeatable. The staff at St. Peter Six Rooms & Suites were so friendly and helpful, welcoming us when we arrived and again when we left. I only regret booking it for our last night instead of the whole trip. Next time, this is where we're staying. Highly recommend!

You're only a few steps from Vatican City, and the hotel is beautiful. The staff were friendly and courteous. Everything was excellent, except the foldout bed could use a new mattress. I can't wait to come back next year with my brother and his family.

Breakfast was at a nearby coffee place we already knew and loved from previous trips, and the arrangement worked out really well. Service was friendly and helpful. One thing to keep in mind: our room, 103, was beside the welcome desk and breakfast area, so light sleepers or anyone hoping to nap might want to ask for a room at the end of the short hallway. The room and bathroom were both huge by European standards, and even large by American ones. Everything was clean and well maintained, with decor that mixed old and new. Having enough room to sort our bags before heading home after a long trip was a real blessing; our other hotels hadn't given us that space. We picked this place for a short stay at the end of our Italian vacation because it was near St. Peter’s on via della conciliazione. We'd stayed in the area before, at a hotel that has since closed. Being close to the basilica and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants near Piazza Navona was wonderful. It's a tiny B&B, with six rooms inside a larger building. Once past the front door, the busy Roman street gives way to a peaceful courtyard. It's one flight up, with a tiny elevator.

For a good price, this no-frills hotel gives you a great base in an amazing location. It's ideal if you just need somewhere to shower, sleep, and leave your things while you're out all day. They gave us breakfast vouchers for a nice cafe about a five-minute walk away, and put water and drinks in the fridge every day.
