The location is very good, close to the Vatican, but I couldn't enjoy my stay. The room had a few uncomfortable problems: the bathroom was tiny, and shutting the door from inside was difficult. The sink was outside it, and the third bed was an uncomfortable sofa. At check-in you have to give an exact arrival time, or risk a fine if you're late. Checkout at 10 am is very early, too. Overpriced for what's offered.

We left and found somewhere down the road, but they refused to refund us. The toilet was broken, and the manager already knew. He said it would be fixed the next day, but would you pay this much to stay in a room with a broken toilet? Edit: the response below is a lie. I've attached a screenshot of the WhatsApp conversation.

The owner was nice, polite and easy to communicate with. The location is perfect for Rome, especially if you're visiting the Vatican: a few minutes from the basilica, Ottaviano metro station and the shuttle bus stop. The room was average in size, with shampoo and towels, although they smelled a bit odd. The bed headboard was loose and noisy, and the nightstand shelf was damaged. The shower space is too small, really only suitable for people without weight issues. You can hear the sanitary fixtures whenever you wash your hands, shower or flush.

We had a great stay and would happily come back. The hotel is right in the center, with lots of lovely restaurants and sights nearby, and the local food was amazing. Our room was cleaned every day. The staff were wonderful, especially the woman who looked after our room, who couldn't have been more helpful. They were also very accommodating with an early check-in and late check-out. I'd definitely recommend it.
