We found the room comfortable, if not fancy, and the bathroom was modern and clean. It was a good solution when our flights changed and we needed to get to Rome early. The room was warm when we arrived, but opening the windows cooled it down quickly. We were two older women arriving at Roma Termini around midnight, and felt completely safe on the short walk to the hotel. There were police along the way and a couple of restaurants with outdoor seating, which was reassuring. The after-hours check-in was new to us, but went smoothly. One thing to know: 47 Steps means you have to climb 47 steps to reach the hotel, and there’s no lift. The steps weren’t tall and there was a sturdy railing, which helped even with our 45-pound suitcases.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, right across from the train station, making it easy to get to the airport. Veronica and Rudia communicated everything we needed to know and were very helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff were really helpful and quick to respond, and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. You do have to climb 47 steps to reach the hotel, but once you’re up, it feels very welcoming.

The location is great, and I was grateful that we could leave our luggage both before check-in and after checkout. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Finding 47 Steps was difficult, and the instructions should be clearer. We also weren’t told there was no lift. After a 36-hour journey, hauling heavy bags up five flights in the heat was a very unwelcome surprise. The shower in our room couldn’t be used, and the exhaust fan wasn’t working. We had to use another room to shower the next day, which was horrible after such a long trip. Once our shower was “fixed,” more water ended up on the bathroom floor than going down the drain, because it wasn’t waterproofed properly, not because of strong pressure. The coffee wasn’t replenished when the room was cleaned either. The location was good, but I wouldn’t stay in that room again or recommend it to family and friends. I’d choose somewhere farther out instead.
