A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel

We needed an emergency overnight stay after our flight was delayed, and found the hotel online. We arrived late, after the restaurant and bar had closed. Dario, the night manager, was amazing. He suggested a pizza place on Uber Eats, ordered through his app, and since we had no cash, he paid the delivery rider and added it to our bill. The room was excellent and spacious, with a fantastic shower, and we slept really well. Thanks, Dario.

The hotel is beautiful, with great amenities. Getting a room with the spa pass included is a must. I loved the steam rooms and saunas, with two choices for each amenity. The bathrooms were nice, and the rooms clean and spacious. The only odd thing was that my booked king room had two twin beds pushed together instead of a king bed.

There’s an airport and city-center shuttle, but it costs €5 one way for adults and €2.5 for children under 10. With these room rates, I’d expect it to be complimentary. Other things missing for this price are valet parking, help carrying luggage to the rooms, and a Muslim shower. We had to bring our own portable one. The hotel itself is decent, but around 30 minutes from the city center and not worth the high price. It feels more like a 2-3 star stay. €300-€350 would seem fair, rather than €700.

After long days exploring Rome, I loved coming back to the peaceful setting at A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel. It’s slightly outside the busy historic center, but major sights are easy to reach by taxi or a short ride on public transport. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful with check-in and suggestions for local sights and places to eat. The pool and outdoor lounge feel like a little oasis, and there’s a well-equipped fitness center, plus lovely gardens and open spaces. The dining options were impressive too. Breakfast had plenty of variety and good-quality fresh fruit, pastries, and hot dishes. The restaurant puts a modern spin on Italian classics, and the cocktails were refreshing and elegant. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with luxurious bedding, thoughtful lighting, good water pressure, blackout curtains, and plenty of outlets. The lobby and common areas have a welcoming contemporary style, with light, room to move, and greenery. The whole place feels upscale without being stiff, and makes for a comfortable, relaxing home base.
