Aenea Superior Inn

Martina made us feel at home and went out of her way to help. She checked us in and was incredibly kind. We were surprised that the one-bedroom terraced room at the back had no elevator access. That was an Expedia error, not Aenea’s, so be aware if you book that particular room. The apartment was very comfortable, and the beds felt like new memory foam. It was well stocked, and there’s a mini supermarket across the street for anything else you need. Staff also did a nice job accommodating a gluten-free diet and keeping the room stocked for both of us throughout our four-day stay. We loved the terrace, though in early May the weather could have been warmer so I could spend more time out there. There are great restaurants close by, and short walks take you to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Jewish Quarter, and Train Station. We’ll definitely be back.

Our room had a beautiful view, and the freshly made morning pastries were tasty. The location is fantastic, with Roma Termini easy to reach and a massive basilica nearby that makes it easy to find your way back while exploring. There are great restaurants and shops around, plus a small grocery store across the street. A wonderful place for the price, it punches above its weight.

The mattress was the most comfortable of all the hotels I tried in Rome, and the receptionist was very nice. They let us check in early and kept our luggage for free. It’s on a nice street and in a good location. The guest house has been updated nicely, with high ceilings and a good bathroom, but the room was tiny. Breakfast wasn't much of a meal, just some pastries by the door, including a doughnut and a tomato bun, a small yogurt in the fridge, juice, and little cookies. You'll have to climb to the third floor. The doors are thin, so you hear everything.

We could relax on our private terrace after busy days of wandering around, which was great. The room had character and charm, and breakfast was included as an added bonus. The location was ideal, close to both the train station and historic sites. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Keep up the good work!
