I booked a room and was given one address on the website. When I got there, I called the owner, who sent a Google Maps location over WhatsApp instead of through the booking site. It was more than 2 km from the listed address. At the new location, he gave me more directions, then demanded extra money. I called the police, who sided with him throughout. At one point I asked them to just let us leave, and they said we had to pay the city tax first. Thankfully the booking site gave me a full refund, and the police let us go without paying it. I found another hotel closer to the city centre. It felt like the owner was playing a game with me. The whole thing seemed like a scam.

It's always unpleasant to leave a 1-star review, but the owner seems not to know how to use the booking apps properly. I booked through Agoda. My reservation was never cancelled, and the owner didn't try to contact me, but still claimed it was cancelled because I hadn't replied to messages.

The owners were incredibly sweet, and the room was lovely. My son and I spent two nights at this B&B and had a wonderful time. It also had a large terrace with a covered section and a bathroom with a whirlpool tub. I'd definitely stay again if I get the chance.

We only arrived late to stay a couple of hours before an early flight, but the place was very different from its description and poorly cleaned, especially the bathroom, which was hard to use. The bed was hard and the sheets were stained. Two days later, I'm still waiting for a receipt. They kept saying “later, in the early afternoon...” and seem unlikely to issue one. Strongly not recommended!
