The location was good, but I didn’t find it comfortable. It’s a fourth-floor apartment with no elevator.

The room was very clean and spacious, with a balcony looking onto the courtyard. It was warm and had what I needed: a large shower, good plumbing, a fridge, a hairdryer, and hot water. There were quite a few drawbacks, but the excellent location made most of them forgivable for my kind of trip. The linens and towels were old, and all the dishes were plastic, including the glasses, plates, and forks. There was a corkscrew but not even a knife. Breakfast was coffee and a roll at a quaint Italian cafe. That might be fine for girls, but hardly feels like breakfast for a man. The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi in the balcony room. There was a signal, but it was so weak I couldn’t even send a message. That’s why I gave it three stars.

The room was clean, though one bedside table had some stains. The fruit on the kitchen table was moldy and already rotting, so I’d choose a different place to stay. It’s a few blocks from the Colosseum and within walking distance of Termini Station. There’s no elevator, which made getting suitcases up to the fourth floor difficult. The building is old, with very dark hallways, and opening both the building and apartment doors was a bit tricky.

The room is spacious and clean, and there’s a fan. Breakfast is served at a bar downstairs, about 15 meters away. It’s well located in the Monti neighborhood, but keep in mind it’s on the fourth floor with no elevator and no air conditioning.
