Tucked away in an upper corner of Rome, this is a cozy, family-run place. The owners are super friendly and lovely. Highly recommend it, especially if you love cats!

The location suited me because I was in town for work near the Civil Protection Department for a couple of days. It’s a very good base if you work or need to be in that area. Otherwise, it’s a little outside the city, though getting into town is no big deal, with a 15-minute train or bus ride. I got a very warm welcome, and they explained breakfast and showed me to my room. The service felt personal and familiar. Ordering food wasn’t a problem, which isn’t always the case elsewhere. There’s also a nearby restaurant that looked decent from outside. The building and rooms have a welcoming feel. The living room especially felt homey, with a built-in piano, a roomy sofa, and a lovely fireplace. My single room was clean, looked after, and practical for a short stay, with air conditioning and a mini-fridge. Some paint could use a touch-up, and there are still a few imperfections. The internal garden is pretty, quiet, and inviting, with two swings, a few loungers, and a nice table. It was a lovely place to have breakfast and wake up in the morning. I only met Minù among the cats, but her presence added that familiar agritourism and farm feel I’ve enjoyed on trips to Tuscany.

The owners were helpful and kind, and getting here by car was easy. There’s parking, and the Via Flaminia bus stop is only a few steps away. Our room and bathroom were both spacious. Everything was great, breakfast included, though I’d have liked a few more savory choices.

I’ve stayed here several times for work and have always been happy with the experience. The owners are very helpful and kind, and the area has good connections to the city center and the CNSR. I highly recommend the place.
