We spent our evenings on the flower-covered balcony, looking out over Piazza Navona. It was a lovely spot for a homemade meal, takeaway, coffee, or a cocktail. In the morning you can watch the piazza wake up over breakfast, then see the artists pack away their colorful paintings at night while you have an espresso before bed. Appartamento Benincampi is on the first floor, with a separate bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The apartment feels spacious, bright, clean, and cool, and it’s hard to beat that view in the heart of Rome. Fabio was very friendly and glad to help, and he pointed us to a great local cafe tucked down a side street. For an authentic taste of Italy, this place felt truly special.

We had the best holiday we’ve ever had in Rome. The time we spent in the apartment made the trip even more wonderful, and Rome is wonderful in itself. We’ll come back as soon as we can.
