It was easy to get around from here, about 5 minutes from the main train and bus station and a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The downside was how tiny the room was, and the walls were so thin we could hear people talking in the neighboring rooms.

We were fine with the noise from the traffic, though you could hear it late at night and early in the morning through the beautiful old windows. That's part of staying in a historic building in central Rome. The location made it easy to reach the Colosseum and Forum Romanum on foot in about 13 minutes, and metro and train stations were nearby. Our room was comfortable, clean, and a good fit for two people staying three nights. The receptionist was kind and communicated well on WhatsApp. We got clean towels daily, plus two bottles of water, salt, two yogurts, and Coca Cola in the minibar for free. Each morning a sweet cake or croissant per person was left on the door or brought to the room. For the price, it was really worth it.

I booked for 4-9 September, but left after only 4 hours and got no refund. The hotel still hadn't given me a proper response 9 days later. They kept saying “tomorrow” or “later,” with no refund in sight. I have video evidence of what happened and will share my experience online. Be careful, this place looks like a scam. The air conditioner didn't work, and the toilet kept flushing on its own, so it was impossible to sleep. I reported both problems at reception, but the man I spoke to was unhelpful. He suggested we spend the night like that and said perhaps something could be sorted out tomorrow. I had no choice but to look for another hotel. The service was awful, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was really clean and comfortable, the bathroom worked perfectly, and our bed was so soft. There was no noise in our room. The receptionist was amazing, and they helped us with our luggage, which was great. It was a little hard to find the place at night, but easy once you know where it is. They left a free corneto each morning, with coffee and tea we could make whenever we wanted. A couple of things could be better. Breakfast was put outside the door around 9:00, so if you left early to see the city, you might miss it. One day we got back at 14:30 to rest and found the room hadn't been cleaned or restocked with coffee and supplies. They knocked around 16:00, but we were in, so it wasn't cleaned that day. I think they should clean earlier, so guests can rest after lots of walking and lunch. I'd still happily stay here again anytime. Thanks for everything.
