We loved Birba Bed and Breakfast. Franco was welcoming from the minute we arrived and made us feel at home. He was kind, always ready to help, and shared local suggestions that made us love Rome even more. Thank you, Franco, you’re the best!

Franco’s tips were wonderful, and he made our stay far better than we’d imagined. Getting to the city centre and back was easy, too. We’ll definitely stay at his B&B again when we return to Rome.

I used to doubt a five-star place could really live up to that rating, but this one changed my mind. Franco was so kind, left free milk and bread for breakfast, and carefully explained the facilities and the city map. There was a washing machine, fridge, pots, free shampoo, and towels. The downsides were the soundproofing and the distance from the city centre. You may hear flatmates talking in the hallway.

The rooms were cozy and very nice, and the host was lovely. He started by making sure we knew how to get around. The neighbourhood can give a different impression at first, but we felt safe. My partner and I walked there many times at night without any problems. The food was better and cheaper than in Trastevere.

We stayed from 19/10/2018 to 22/10/2018. The room was excellent, with a very comfortable bed and bathroom, and both were very clean. The place itself was quiet, clean, and had a delicious breakfast. Franco was kind, respectful, attentive, and a really cool guy. He helped more than I expected with suggestions for places to eat and visit, and how to get around Rome. It is far from the centre and the sights, and a bit of a distance from the nearest metro, though taking a bus to there or elsewhere was no problem. Everything was perfect for us. I definitely recommend it. Best wishes from Brazil!
