I wouldn’t recommend this place. The room was dark, dusty, old and gross, and nothing like the photos. It was small, with mold in the bathrooms and no air circulation. My allergies started acting up as soon as I arrived, and I had trouble breathing. Within 10 mins, I’d found another place. Don’t waste your time or money just for the location. There are much better places around the colosseum. I’d give it zero stars.

The one good thing was that it was a 5 minute walk to the colosseum. The room was really small, and the bathroom was tiny. I’m medium sized and kept bumping into things. The shower was so cramped I sometimes had to leave the door open. There was air conditioning, but I could only switch it on or off. The manager had removed the knob for adjusting the temperature, so the room was always just warm. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, which I expected, but the crackers were always stale and seemed like they were from 10 years ago. We wanted to make tea with the pot, but found mold in it. The worst B&B I’ve ever stayed at. If I could, I’d give it 0 stars.

We waited outside on a busy street from 6pm to 8pm before the guy finally turned up to let us in. There was nobody at the apartment, and no phone number posted outside. We booked through LastMinute and called the Apartment contact number 3 times, but each call ended with a cancelled-call message. After about an hour, the owner of a nearby café knew the owner and managed to contact them. Never again.

The private patio was beautiful, and the location was great. Staff were very friendly. We had a few small problems, and they went out of their way to make our stay easy and enjoyable.
