B&B Girovagando

The location felt very safe and was quiet at night. For the price and quality, I’d recommend the place. I was there for a few days on a work trip, and the room and private bathroom were both spacious, with plenty of room to move around and store luggage. Everything stayed tidy thanks to the excellent cleaning. Breakfast came with the stay and was tasty and plentiful. The walls are thin, though. I could hear a man snoring one night and a couple with a child another night, when their baby cried. I was exhausted most evenings and slept through it, but lighter sleepers might be bothered.

We lost money and slept badly, and this was the biggest disappointment of our Rome holiday. The rooms were noisy, poorly cleaned, and the place felt unpleasant and unfriendly. During our stay, someone took our food from the fridge and entered our room without permission. I also found the location quite unsafe at night. Be careful if you go. Don't book breakfast included: they charge 10 euros for it, while you can get it there for 1,50 euros. I've attached a picture of the breakfast place. It's terrible. Please don't go, you'll regret it.

The room was clean and big enough, and the bed was large and comfortable. The man at reception was ready to help. Breakfast wasn't huge, but it tasted good, with juice, coffee, croissants, cookies and other things. I only missed having slippers in the room. There's a smoking area out on the street. It's half the price of hotels, and I think I'd recommend staying here to my friends.

The rooms were okay, and the location is really the main positive if you're going to the Vatican. The Airbnb listing said Wi-Fi was included, but the internet didn't work for our whole stay. I was told it was a phone company problem, and the owner offered nothing to make up for it. Since we were travelling from abroad, being without internet made it hard to plan things, and we had to use roaming, which added to our trip costs.
