B&B La Dolce Sosta

We were told the place had three single beds, but there were only two towels and pillows with pillowcases, and the double bed had a short sheet. The mattresses were threadbare. There was one bathroom for us and four other potential roommates, and nobody told us we'd be sharing with a total of five apartments. The kitchen light couldn't be switched off, so the bedroom stayed bright, and there were no room-darkening blinds. The balcony had just one kitchen chair and was full of cleaning supplies. There's an oppressive chemical cleaning smell throughout. The offsite reception was very difficult to reach. They manage rooms in lots of places and put them all in the same Booking.com post. We got an incorrect WiFi code, and there was no router or communication, so there was no WiFi. The room fridge didn't work, and the remote wouldn't turn on the air conditioning, so it was stifling. This felt more like a rooming house, without the hospitality of a hostel. They call it a B&B, but nobody lives here and there's no breakfast. It is not a Bed & Breakfast. The final kick in the teeth was the airport taxi he preordered. It had to be paid in cash and never showed up, so we were an hour late for check-in. Never stay here!

The heater didn't work properly, and the very small bathroom wasn't properly clean. A few things in it were broken. The room was spacious, but our experience overall wasn't good.

We ended up sleeping on the kitchen floor. Our room was still occupied by other guests, and the owner wouldn't answer the phone. Stay away from this place!

The place was dirty, the WiFi and TV didn't work, and there was no reception on site.
