B&B Rome's Angel

I was very happy with the stay and would come back on a future trip to Italy. I booked a week in October 2023 through Expedia, though you can save money by booking directly on their website. Donatella and AnnaMaria were incredibly hospitable and communicative. They greeted me on WhatsApp around my arrival, sent links to local restaurants and touristy activities, and Andrea, the host manager, met me in person with the keys. My flight got in very early, so they let me leave my luggage at the B&B until the previous guests checked out and the room was cleaned. The room was cleaned and restocked with towels, snacks, water and toiletries every 3 days. The place feels homey and comfortable, more like an Air BnB than a fancy hotel. It’s simple, which suited me since I wasn’t in the room much. There are three guest rooms sharing a communal kitchen. I had Room #3 on the 2nd floor, with a private bathroom and twin beds pushed together, so it could accommodate 2 separate guests. It had A/C, which probably helps in the hot summer months, complimentary wifi that let me get some work done, and a small, somewhat outdated TV. There’s no breakfast, even though it’s a “B&B.” You can make your own food in the kitchen, which has a refrigerator, microwave, espresso machine and lots of yummy Italian snacks. The location is just a block from Rome Termini, handy for trains, cabs and buses to many cities around Italy. It’s a little sketchy around there, especially at night, so watch your surroundings. Otherwise it’s central, and you can pretty much walk to places like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City and Travestere.
