The rooms are large and very clean, and the whole place has been refurbished. There’s no luggage rack in the rooms, though. The guest house is right in the middle of Trastevere, surrounded by nice bars and restaurants, and you can walk to Rome’s main sights.
We felt at home in the neighborhood, and this turned out to be our best choice in Rome. The house and rooms were beautiful, new, fully equipped, and had a lovely view. Our room was cleaned every day, with service comparable to a five-star hotel. The host took the time to explain everything and point us toward excellent restaurants and places to see, and was more helpful than any guidebook. The welcome and help were second to none.
It was a very nice place to stay, but check-in was listed as 10:30 am to 2 pm. I let them know I’d arrive at 11, yet my room wasn’t ready until almost 12:30.
There’s no staff at reception, so it feels more like an Airbnb. The place is clean, central, and convenient, with a comfortable mattress and sheets. Great location, too.
No lift, but otherwise smart and clean, with professional multilingual staff. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from some great nightlife.
