B&S Suite Colosseo

The rooms are clean and tidy, with lots of artwork that gives the place a homey feel. I really liked the shower too. Marco was a fantastic host, always happy to help with friendly advice on getting around and some great restaurant suggestions. The train station, Colosseum and Trevi Fountain are all within a reasonable walk, and nearby buses and the metro make the Vatican easy to reach. There is a short flight of stairs, so it may not suit anyone who has trouble with them. Otherwise, I can't recommend Marco and A&F COLOSSEO enough. I booked after seeing all the positive reviews and wasn't disappointed.

Marco gave us tips on restaurants and places to see, and made us feel at home from the start. The room had everything we needed, and it was clean and affordable. Great location too. We'd happily come back, and can only recommend staying here.

The host was very welcoming, and the location is good. The property itself could use some upkeep: there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling and walls, and the bathroom was so small that it was hard for an average-sized adult to move around in. You can hear the neighbors quite easily as well. If those things don't bother you, it's good value for the location.

Marco is a friendly, helpful host, and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was also surprisingly quiet between rooms. I slept in on the first morning and could barely hear the other guests having breakfast. The location is fantastic, with good restaurants and an amazing gelato place nearby. Termini is an eight-minute walk or a very short cab ride away, and it's a lovely walk to the Colosseum, Foro Romano and nearby highlights. I stayed six nights and was very happy with the choice. The B&B is up a flight of stairs inside the building, and coming from Via Cavour means climbing a long flight of steps to the street. That wasn't a problem for me, but could matter if stairs are difficult for you.
