After the hotel we’d booked cancelled at the last minute, my friend and I were lucky to find this place for our September stay. The owner was warm and helpful, kept the place clean, and handled the cooking and tidying himself. He helped with our bags and arranged an airport transfer too. Grazie mille! The room was small, but had what we needed, and breakfast was included, which saved us extra expense. There’s a grocery shop close by and lots of restaurants. The hotel is walkable from the train station and about a 10-minute walk from the Vatican. We were surprised by how quiet it was. There’s a lift, though the steps at the entrance are quite steep.

The staff were lovely, and the location with a view of cupola st, pietro was amazing. Everything was perfect, I’d recommend it 100%.

The location is the one thing I really liked, with bus stops and the train station nearby and the Vatican about a 10-minute walk away. The bathrooms are tiny, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything happening in the building. We couldn’t sleep because of the constant noise. Breakfast was okay, but dull and the same every day.

Francesco was friendly and helpful, and the family room for four was clean and fairly new. The breakfast was really good, with croissants, cappuccino, rolls, salami, cheese, eggs, cereal, yoghurt, and even homemade cake. There was everything we needed. It’s very close to St Peter’s, with good public transport and lots of restaurants right nearby.
