The host was the best part for us. She was nice, attentive, and kept checking whether we needed help. The facilities are just enough, and this is a place for a roof and a bed between city outings, not anything luxurious. Heating was pretty weak for a cold-weather visit. On the first night, street noise and neighbours playing their TV loudly until 1 a.m. made it hard to sleep, though it gradually got better.

The shower didn't work, the rooms were very cold, and they didn't look like the pictures. On top of that, our passports were missing. When we called the owner, he said we'd have to wait over an hour to get them back. We threatened to call the police, and a colleague showed up within ten minutes. From the moment we arrived, we felt unsafe and found the place disgusting, so we asked for our money back. The service was horrible. The owner kept hovering beside us while we tried to decide whether to leave or stay. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay here.

The noise made it impossible for us to sleep. There was a fight outside at 3 in the morning on our first night, garbage and recycling collection was right outside the window, and bars dumped glass as they closed. Most sights are at least a 20-minute walk away, and there are better places closer in a neighbourhood that felt sketchy. The place is just four rooms run badly by a sketchy man, with no common area or check-in desk. He demanded payment upfront. There's supposedly housekeeping, but our room wasn't cleaned during our stay, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. I had to insist on getting fresh towels, which took two days. He said he'd clean the room and never did, even after I showed him the dirt and hair. It was absolutely filthy, with mold and hair in the bathroom and dust and dirt everywhere. There was no toilet paper or soap, so we had to go to a shop as soon as we checked in. I know it's cheap and centrally located, and I also thought we'd only be there to sleep and shower. It would've been cleaner to sleep on the street and shower in the fountains.

The location was good, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to friends. Water dripped from the air conditioner all night and damaged my bag. When I asked for compensation, they kindly told me it was my fault. The shower wasn't working, and the Wi-Fi was unstable.
