The owner refused to refund me so I could move to a better hotel, even though the issue was with the building itself. A window wouldn’t close, and I was left in a room with it open through a winter night until the next day. I’d paid a lot, and that was unacceptable. The receptionist was willing to try to find a solution, but the problem never got fixed.

We’ve just finished a five-day stay. Room 101 is so noisy that you won’t get much sleep. It’s close to the lobby, a major highway, and the street, and even footsteps in the hall carry loudly because of the laminated floors. It also takes an hour to get to the town center. All I needed was a room to sleep in, and the hotel failed at that.

We had a problem and Mrs. Roxana helped us right away. She was very kind, like the rest of the staff. The accommodation was superb, the service was very good, and we’ll be back.

The ceiling started leaking the following evening, with water dripping onto the floor. When I told reception, three women and a man who was supposed to be starting the night shift blamed one another while counting money. They told me to wait, then left me standing for 10 minutes without help. When I returned, the women had gone, and the man said nothing could be done without checking the leak or even offering a bucket. We had to sleep in that room with no assistance. Problems had started as soon as we checked in: the hallway light wouldn’t switch off, and nobody seemed concerned. Then the toilet broke after just two uses, so we had to change rooms. The way staff handled the leak felt negligent and disrespectful. This hotel was a disgrace.
