Max welcomed us warmly and showed us around, handed over the keys, and explained the transport options. We chose the subway, and the ride to the Coliseum took no more than 15 minutes. The station is a four-minute walk away, and there’s a Conad supermarket nearby. There’s free parking under the apartment windows, usually busy, but we managed to find a spot for the car we drove to Rome. I’d suggest renting a small car. The apartment is clean, nicely located, and has an interesting design. It’s equipped with Wi-Fi, a small refrigerator, kettle, induction stove, dishes, coffee, sugar, and other basics. We felt like locals here and were pleased with our stay.

The cinema-themed decor, both Italian and international, was my favorite part. The house is lovely, full of charm and light, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Max and the apartment both show a lot of attention to detail. He left each of us a croissant with jam, tea, and cocoa. Check-in and check-out were easy, and if your schedule gets tricky, talk to him because he’ll try to work something out.

The attractions are close enough to reach on foot if you can manage the walks. The Colosseum is no more than 30 minutes away, and you’ll find parking in front of Bellisima Roma as well as a minimarket for last-minute shopping. Inside, the house is warm and friendly, just like our host Max. The kitchen, bathroom, and rooms all had what we needed. Comfortable mattresses and fluffy pillows made for a good night’s sleep after all that walking.

The rooms were very good quality, and the host was attentive and helpful, including with an airport taxi. It’s a nice apartment, though a little out of the way, with good public transport connections. The kitchen could be more functional, especially with a traditional Italian grocery store nearby that makes you want to cook. I’d recommend it for a trip with family or friends.

The bed was uncomfortable, and the facilities felt outdated. The B&B is away from the city center, though public transport is very close. Getting into the center takes about half an hour and a few changes.
