Antonio went above and beyond as concierge, explaining the transport options and helping with all our needs during the stay. At breakfast Matteo and Salvatore gave us great service. Late one night we came in soaked from the rain and wanted coffee, and Roberto brought it over even though he was about to close. The receptionists also gave us superb service when we arrived at Best Western, especially after a disappointing stay at our previous hotel in Lucerne. We were glad we chose a place that gave us a feel for the neighborhood and everyday life in Rome. Thank you to Best Western for the hospitality and high level of care and support. I’ll be coming back to Rome soon and staying here again.

The bus is the way to go, take Bus 90. Ignore Google’s metro suggestion unless you fancy climbing a million steps. We found the location quiet but still convenient for getting around. The room was comfortable, well furnished and very clean, with a lovely little balcony. Everything was well maintained. The staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt welcome straight away. Had a great stay, thank you.

We had a lovely room, a good breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff. The location is outside the busy centre, but public transport is very close, so the sights are easy to reach.

The property is tucked away up a hill on a narrow one-way street, so it’s quiet and a bit out of the way. Graziella and Domenico were charming and helpful, and made us feel like family. Don’t miss the excellent kitchen on site. At the bottom of the hill, you’re near Sempione, with plenty of bus routes, food options, grocery shops, shopping, a lovely church and a beautiful park. The historic centre is about a 15-minute bus ride away. This one’s a keeper.

We nearly missed check-in because the taxi never came. We asked the receptionist to arrange a ride to the airport, and he told us it would be there in 10 to 15 minutes. More than an hour went by. It was Sunday afternoon and traffic was light, but he didn’t make any effort to sort it out. In the end, we walked to the train station.
