The staff were consistently helpful, and the place is handily located near the Vatican and a metro station. I stayed three nights at Consoli Romani Vatican Rooms and would wholeheartedly recommend it. It exceeded what I expected for quality, value, location and cleanliness. A real find in Rome. We’ll be back.

The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and there was mold on the ceiling by the air conditioning. The location was excellent, close to Ottaviano metro station.
