The art deco dining room is a lovely setting for breakfast, and there’s a good choice of fruit, meats and cheeses. The staff kept everything stocked and cleared tables efficiently. The hotel has a beautiful old-school art deco interior, well-equipped rooms, and a helpful, welcoming team. It’s close to the station but sits in a quiet, safe area.

The place has a charming, slightly nostalgic feel, like it belongs to another era. But that shower pressure was unreal. After more than 20 years of travel, I’ve never had a shower that left me feeling so thoroughly refreshed. I went in dusty and worn out and came out feeling reborn, scrubbed down to my ancestors.

We felt spoiled the whole time and can’t wait to return, hopefully before long. The restaurant is warm and classy, with a menu that sounds tempting. Andrea, the manager, leads a lovely team with Carmine and Cesare, and Mara at the bar is a joy to be around. At reception, Francesca is right on top of everything and ready to help. This beautiful boutique Hotel keeps impressing us with its family-style welcome. If you're staying near the Termine Station area, you'd be missing out by choosing somewhere else.

We couldn’t travel to Italy because of the conflict in the Middle East, so we asked for a refund on our booking. The hotel refused, even after we showed our flight tickets and our country’s travel advisory. Agd tried to help, but we were told to cancel, pay the penalty, and then ask the hotel again for a refund, which was “UNGUARANTEED.” Why should I pay a penalty and give the hotel the room back so it can sell it again, then ask for my money afterward? That process feels completely unsympathetic and inconsiderate. I booked through Agd, but apparently my review wasn’t posted there. Please find another place in Rome. There are plenty of options, and I’d avoid this hotel.
