Boezio House

The apartment is in a safe, convenient area near the Vatican, restaurants, and shops, and you can walk across the Tiber River. It’s beautiful, and having three bathrooms was especially useful. Irene was very kind and friendly. I still recommend the place, though two things took away from our stay. The listing said breakfast was free, and I have screenshots. When I asked the owner, she said she had made a mistake and offered what she called refreshments: a carton of juice, a carton of milk, cookies, and coffee. That wasn’t a proper breakfast as described. The listing also said that after 10 PM, the direct airport bus isn’t an option and you need a taxi. The owner even called my driver to check I was travelling with him. I asked the driver to arrive before 10 PM because I didn’t want to pay for the more expensive ride, the bus costs half as much, as well as the late check-in fee. Irene had no problem with me taking the bus, so I would have paid the late check-in fee if I could have done that.

We got a friendly welcome when we arrived, and the accommodation had everything needed for self-catering. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable, with an ideal location for the attractions. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were super rude, the place was dirty, and the beds were hard. There were hardly any supplies, barely enough toilet paper, and the kitchen wasn’t stocked with basic necessities.

It was tidy and nicely presented, though it could use a fresh coat of paint.
