We return every year, and the rooms are always clean. The location works perfectly for visiting Castel Sant Angelo and St Peter’s Basilica. Just keep in mind there are a few steps at the entrance if you’re bringing a lot of luggage. Loredana will take good care of you.

Loredana stayed in touch before we arrived and made sure we knew how to get there. She also invited us to ask anything we needed, and WhatsApp was one way to reach her. Brunelleschi Hotel has a very local, Roma-style feel, almost like being at home. It feels private too, since only guests can access the hotel. The Vatican is very close, and the mornings there were lovely.

Our apartment had a terrace with a lovely city view, and the larger table made it a comfortable spot for lunch. The bedroom was clean and spacious. Location and comfort stood out: the hotel is very close to the Vatican, with a quiet restaurant right opposite and a mini Carrefour a couple of blocks away. They checked with us several times about our arrival time, but nobody was there when we got in, so we used self check-in. It was well organized. There’s also laundry, a washer and dryer, a playroom for little kids, and a gym.

The beds were comfortable, and the location is a real plus, very close to the Vatican. The staff were friendly, but they had us hurry from the airport so they could leave, and the check-in times are odd. The hotel is really outdated too. For instance, a bathroom light had been taped together so it wouldn’t fall.

The roof terrace is full of greenery and makes a great place for a bottle of wine in the evening before going out to one of the many nearby restaurants. The accommodation was clean and tidy, and the location was ideal.
