We stayed two nights and had a comfortable visit. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and good bathrooms and showers. There was no street noise, though the Wi-Fi was a bit weak and the surrounding area can feel sketchy. You can take the small lift or walk up four flights of stairs. They also provide a voucher for coffee and pastries at a place down the street. Let them know your estimated arrival time and they'll try to be ready. We arrived at 10 am, checked in, and got into our room, which was a big plus since we needed somewhere to leave our bags.

The placement deserves five stars, and the cleaner, the abuela, was soo sweet. The Wi-Fi was kinda mid, but my own service was good, so I didn't mind. The shower in my room was okay, not bad at all for the price.

The room itself was fine, with a bed, bathroom and AC. The experience around it was the worst hotel stay possible. We arrived at 3 pm on a Monday after a long trip, but nobody was there. We rang the bell for 10 minutes, then looked up the number and called. The manager said he'd arrive in 20 minutes, but took about 40. We were left waiting in the hot sun with all our bags in a sketchy area. At 8 am, an old lady barged into our room and woke us up. We told her to leave, and she started vacuuming right outside the door. At 9:30 am she was pounding on the door and blowing cigarette smoke in our faces, telling us to leave, even though the information package clearly said checkout was 10:30 am. Being rushed out like that made me forget my $100 headphones in the room.

The location was good, and the room was clean and fairly comfortable. We stayed three nights, and there wasn't much street noise. The big downside was breakfast with Santa Maria: just a cup of coffee and a croissant. It was delicious, but a bit small for breakfast. The way it's advertised as both a “hotel” and a “B&B” was also confusing.

The bed was comfortable, and the room and surrounding area were clean and close to main transport. The breakfast vouchers were okay, and the manager was friendly to communicate with. But the area felt a bit unsafe when alone late at night, and noise from the building disturbed the night, including the elevator and the water supply or toilet tank refilling. The main problem was having no hot water during my entire three-night stay. Management told me hot water problems were always happening in the area and there was “nothing” they could do except report it for repair. I hadn't been told about this before booking. That caused me and other guests a lot of inconvenience, and I was disappointed they didn't reduce the price or offer better customer care.
