The host was very welcoming and helpful, and the room was small but practical. We were in the basement room, in a nice neighborhood near the colosseum. It could get noisy, since we could hear the shower and toilet in the other room very clearly. The bathroom looked nice, but there was a strange smell from somewhere that kept bothering us. Even leaving the ventilation on for hours didn't make it go away.

Really great service.
We spent four days in Rome and I'd recommend this place. The apartment is on the ground floor, with a fridge and coffee machine, and everything is nearby. It was clean, and communication with the owners was very good. The one thing missing was a fork or knife for making a quick breakfast. There’s a Carrefour close by for picking up a few things.
Maria was a lovely host, really kind and ready to help with anything we needed. We had a great experience at the hotel.
