Camplus Hotel Roma Centro

There were plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the location was great for Termini and the metro. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room had everything we needed, including a big, comfortable bed. The only drawback was the ventilation system, though I guess that’s common across Rome.

There was lots within walking distance, and the area was great. Our room was roomy and clean, and the staff were very helpful while we were there. The elevators worked well too, which I appreciated after having problems with them at other places. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Our last night in Italy ended terribly. We’d booked the Double Executive room at Camplus Hotel Roma Centro because the listing said it came with a “balcony/terrace” in both the amenities and photos. Instead, we got a regular window with no access to any balcony or terrace. We relied on what the booking platform showed, but the room didn’t match. When we raised it with the hotel staff, nothing was resolved. There was no apology or explanation, just indifference. We paid for something we didn’t receive, and the false advertising and poor customer care left a bad final impression. If honesty and accurate listings matter to you, avoid this hotel. What’s shown isn’t what you get.

The manager arranged a special detail for my parents’ anniversary, which was lovely. They also stored our suitcases so we could enjoy the day before our night flight. The hotel was very clean, and all the staff were super kind. Its location is great, close to restaurants, grocery stores, a pharmacy, and the train station. I had a great experience and definitely recommend it.
