The rooms are compact but have plenty of storage, and the shower has a great waterfall feature and strong pressure. Nuxe bath products, too. It’s a tucked-away spot in the middle of the action in Camp Marzio, with an easy walk to the luxury shops, major architectural sights, and lots of good food. The boutique hotel has a perfect little artful interior, and it’s modern, clean, and quiet. Check-in was easy and friendly. There’s free breakfast and a cute lobby bar. I’d definitely stay again.

I knew the rooms were small when I booked, but I didn’t expect them to be this uncomfortable. The soundproofing is poor, and I couldn’t sleep well because of the elevator door and outside noise. There was an unpleasant smell in the room, and the elevator is tiny. Based on what I’ve experienced in Rome, there are more comfortable hotels for the price.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but our room was far from the front desk, almost like it was in a back alley. There were five rooms back there, and it seemed we were the only guests. My husband and I both wondered if we’d been put there because we’re Black. Who knows. The TV didn’t work, and the room smelled like sewage. Maybe it was because of trash left out on the street, but the window had to stay open to air the room out. The staff were okay, though not especially nice or helpful. The hotel looks good and has potential, but this wasn’t what I’m used to, and I wouldn’t come back. The food wasn’t good either. The location is nice, with plenty of shops and restaurants. There are other hotels to consider. It was my first time in Rome, and the experience was subpar.

The staff were helpful and welcoming, and my room was clean, quiet, and beautiful. I had a wonderful, relaxing stay, and the location put everything close by. Every other night I’d walk to the Pantheon and eat dessert while looking at it. Shops and nice restaurants were close as well. It was a phenomenal stay and worth the money. Highly recommend!

It was a mixed stay. The location is very close to shopping and the Spanish Steps, and the hotel has been recently renovated. The bathrooms are lovely, and the rooms are about standard size for Europe. Some staff were helpful with recommendations and issues, while others did very little and suggested I “ask for a full refund in the morning.” There was a known power outage, apparently going on for more than a week based on other reviews, but I was assigned a room with a broken power unit anyway. I had to change rooms late at night. Like another reviewer, I also had housekeeping enter despite the Do Not Disturb setting. I’d left early with my laptop and other valuables out. Nothing seemed to be missing, but guests deserve reasonable respect for their privacy. The front desk controls how many degrees you can adjust the heat or cooling. That seems somewhat standard in Europe, but I had to ask for a more reasonable range after the upper limit was set at 18C/64F.
