The Spotlight Boutique Hotel

Breakfast had a lovely range of choices, including delicious items made to order. The hotel is close to the station but sits in a quiet part of Rome, so we slept well every night. They let us check in early because our room was ready, which was a kind gesture after our red flight. The staff made us feel welcome throughout. On our first day, a lovely woman gave us recommendations and every one was spot on. The team greeted us warmly and offered breakfast to go on the mornings we left early. Housekeeping also kept everything spotless each day. We only have good things to say about this place. Thanks so much, and we’ll gladly recommend it.

Breakfast was the best I’ve had anywhere, and the friendly, well-trained team served it with care. Thanks especially to the bartender who helped with our request. The Spotlight makes a lovely impression as soon as you enter its beautifully furnished lobby. Staff are attentive and welcoming, the library has distinctive decor that feels modern but refined, and our comfortable room had everything we needed. I’m looking forward to coming back.

The staff were terrific from the doorman and front desk to the breakfast crew. They all deserve a raise. We slept on very comfortable beds in clean rooms, and the hotel was as quiet and dark as promised. I’m not keen on rain showers, but there’s a handheld shower wand as another option. Breakfast includes a buffet and, if it’s included in your rate, made-to-order dishes and espresso. You can sit in the bright indoor area or on a pleasant little deck. It looks like a pool area may be ready in a few months. The public spaces look bigger in the photos than they are, and the neighborhood isn’t the most exciting. Still, it was easy to walk to places, and we felt completely safe. Rome does seem to have a lot of graffiti, which I hate.

Breakfast was delicious, with both hot and cold choices, and the front desk team were always smiling and ready with good meal recommendations. The Spotlight Boutique Hotel is modern, very clean, and nicely equipped. Its location also gives you easy access to the Main train station. We can’t wait to return.
