The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Crossroad is handy for transport and good restaurants. You are right by the train tracks, although the trains stop overnight. My only suggestion would be adding a full-length mirror in the bedroom for getting ready. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Marco at reception was a standout. He even put together a list of the area’s best restaurants. The rooms were very clean, and the modern tech and smart locks were great. For this budget, it’s hard to beat. Pyramide metro and the train station are about seven minutes away, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Alessandro and the rest of the staff were so kind and friendly. The lobby and shared spaces are inviting and nicely decorated, in keeping with the rest of the building. It’s only a block from the metro, so getting to Rome’s main sights is easy. The price is excellent, a really good deal.

The room had no blankets out, and we eventually found them tucked behind the bed in a very odd spot. The bed was extremely hard and too short for me, even though I’m only 172 cm. We stayed five nights, but the bathroom was cleaned just once. There was a bad smell when we entered, and the receptionist’s manner made us uncomfortable. The hotel is practically on the train tracks, with such poor sound insulation that we couldn’t sleep even five minutes. The area didn’t feel good either. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, and it completely ruined our trip. I’d say don’t book here.
