The host was friendly and explained things clearly, and the B&B is near the Colosseum. Those were the good parts. Cleanliness was a real letdown: the shower glass had lots of mold, with bits sometimes coming off while we showered, and the shower heads were dusty. Every towel had holes, the blankets had little dirt marks, and our white socks showed that the floor wasn’t clean. There was also a very dirty, stained couch in the room. They say there’s a daily cleaner, but everything looked the same, so we couldn’t tell what had been cleaned. On top of that, they charge an extra fee for checking in before 7 pm, though that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the reservation.

Everything was spotless, and the place is right in the center, close to everything. Emma was a fantastic host who clearly loves Rome. She gave us great advice and tips for sights and restaurants. We had a brilliant long weekend, and I’d highly recommend it.

We got great value for money at this family-run BnB in the middle of a lovely Roman village. Emma, our local host, gave us useful restaurant advice, and after exploring around we could see we’d chosen a great base. The main sights are very close too, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine, and Altar of the Fatherland.

My parents just spent four days at Cibele Bed&Breakfast and had a wonderful time. Emma was so kind and helpful, and made sure they had a lovely holiday. I’ll definitely book again, and I’ve recommended the B&B to all my friends. The service was exceptional ❤️ Thanks so much to Emma for looking after them 😊
